Each product that is produced by Lacus has gone through a customised quote system considering customer requirements. Quotes will be based on current raw material prices, and will factor in costs of packaging and a delivered price when necessary using the latest transportation prices.

Lacus felt can produce its materials in rolls or sheets / Batts depending on the customer requirements. Rolls can be cut so a number of widths while sheets can be cut into a number of widths and lengths. All custom cut to meet customer requirements.

Felts can be die-cut into a variety of 2D shapes based on customer demand. Tools are manufactured to customer specifications and cut as per. As well as die-cut, felts also have the option for adhesive laminated if needed.

About Lacus

The industrial group CATENSA was created in Barcelona in 1975, quickly occupying a leading position in the manufacture of felt and textile materials for the automotive industry. In the late 1980s, with consolidated production capacity in Spain of CATENSA Group established subsidiaries of manufacturing operations in the UK and France. CATENSA UK was born in 1987 in Langar in Nottinghamshire. The main activity of the company was to manufacture and market non-woven and non phenolic, phenolic felts for various applications in different sectors across Europe and the UK. The CATENSA group was then obtained in 2007 by the Italian industry organization Maurizie Peruzzo and became I.M.P UK Ltd. In 2016 I.M.P UK was then acquired by the Lacus group and today it's operation as Lacus Felt Ltd continues to manufacture a wide range of acoustical insulation products for various applications in a number of industries, such as automotive with plans towards future growth.
